Pick: Over 2.5 Result: Pending Stake: 6/10 Odds: 1.72 Bookmaker: vCash: No Posted: Jan 27, 2007, 00:43
Another try from me. That's the second pick in the site and both have/had same options. We missed the over in the last match with Panionios but again I will take them as I wait an open game.
You know the difference between Olympiakos at home and the middle teams who plays like opponents in Athens. Oly powerful at home, unbeatable so far (9/9 wins), best attack after AEK's one. The visitors always create chances here. Remember that Aigaleo was up 2-0 and finally lost, Ionikos lost but had big chances to score goal/s while Panionios had bar and 1-2 really dangerous situations to do it. OFI overcame in last game at home Iraklis 1-0 while in last travel lost 3-1 to AEK but we still laughing how they didn't score second and third goal with the chances that they had. They played really open and iam waiting to do it and this weekend. They have nothing to miss there, its one game which is program like lost so they have to play open to catch some point/s. Peter always fast in counter attacks where Oly have problems, Drulic best scorer find easily the net while Olympiakos have no serious problems.
H2h says that Oly have easy afternoon when face OFI at home. Scores always, create chances etc. OFI is the brother of PAO and Oly is always motivated to beat them with many goals. Last seasons Oly find big problems to earn points when travel in Creta so players have to give them some gift in Athens and to fill their's suitcases with many goals.
Good luck

Pick: Zaragoza -0,5 Result: Pending Stake: 4/10 Odds: 2.00 Bookmaker: Pinnacle vCash: No Posted: Jan 21, 2007, 16:10
I see odds on Zaragoza a bit high, they are a very good team, play nice, offensive with really great quality players, above all in attack. They are a strong home team, only lost 2 matches against Valencia and Osasuna.
Recreativo is nice surprise on 1st division, they are a small team in spain, they are making a great soccer, with high confidence, but all in all they are small team with some average players. For today one of most important players, perhaps more important, Viqueira, is out. Zaragoza miss G.Milito (important defence), Diogo and Zapater, but i think that match will be decide for attacking players of Zaragoza.
I must take small/medium bet at this odds, only a bit afraid because Recreativo is a surprise of La Liga, but in normal situation, Zaragoza must win this match.
Good luck

Pick: Kohlschreiber + 8 hc Result: 7-5,6-3,4-6,6-2 Stake: 1/10 Odds: 1.83 Bookmaker: Bet365 vCash: No Posted: Jan 18, 2007, 07:28
Just a small hunch bet on the German + 8 games. I think the handi is a set pretty wide here against a player who's able to do well on hardcourt in general. Kohlschreiber's got a decent serve at hand and there's no need for Nadal to start trashing opponents, a simple victory will suit. Kohlschreiber can go down 36 36 46 and still the bet is void, but I think he might just sneak a TB in one set.

Pick: Stosur to win 2-0 Result: 1-2 Stake: 7/10 Odds: 1.73 Bookmaker: Coral vCash: No Posted: Jan 18, 2007, 07:26
Like the look of Stosur to win. Need her to finish off a combo, but will take her to win 2-0 in sets too, as Kostanic isn't exactly the player to hurt the better player like Stosur is, and even playing on home soil, much more motivated than elsewhere. Kostanic shouldn't even get close to taking a set.

Pick: Bozoljac +7 games Result: 7-6,6-1,6-3 Stake: 6/10 Odds: 2.00 Bookmaker: Bet365 vCash: No Posted: Jan 18, 2007, 07:17
Thought Haas shouldn't have such an easy time with a big serving kid like Bozoljac. Ilija seemed to be well up for it vs Cilic and really blasted his Croatian counterpart. Haas didn't exactly shine vs Montanes. Ofcourse no need to push limits vs such players, but he needs to be aware that he could be facing a far stiffer test today. I think Bozoljac will manage to get at least one tiebreak from Tommy today, and I like the + 7 games handi, he might even manage to take a set in my eyes.

Pick: Mirza Result: Not registered Stake: 9/10 Odds: 1.50 Bookmaker: Centrebet vCash: No Posted: Jan 17, 2007, 19:00
Near banker-material for me. Mirza had an easy-looking 2-0 sets win vs Savchuk, and on the other hand Nakamura cancelled out Dannilidou from the Melbourne tables. Daniilidou ... we all know what she's about, but still we don't seem to know anything. The Greek is so unstable anyone could beat her on any given day. The win that Nakamura got pushed the odds for Mirza a bit, but imo there are no worries, this'll be a victory for the Indian at good odds. Mirza already beat Aiko last year on her own home soil in Japan on hardcourt, 61 64.

Pick: triple bet Result: Not registered Stake: 7/10 Odds: 1.80 Bookmaker: Bet-at-home vCash: No Posted: Jan 17, 2007, 18:54
Nope, Stosur isn't going home yet, not just yet. She's had a good win vs Zakopalova when some people predicted her to lose, and Kostanic is the kind of opponent an ultra-motivated Aussie can handle too. Chakvetadze had quite a hard time getting past Bammer, but Sybille isn't the player to play tricks on anymore, she's gotten a lot better and it's a good thing Anna got past her in a tough 3-setter. Ivanovic potentially faces the stiffest task, but Radwanska isn't playing that well as she did last year yet. She had a lot of trouble overcoming a fairly unknown Lepchenko. Ivanovic on the other hand crushed King 62 60, and King actually improved a lot last year, so unless smth was going on with King this is just a crushing win. Nice little triple.

Pick: Under 18 games Result: Not registered Stake: 7/10 Odds: 1.80 Bookmaker: Unibet vCash: No Posted: Jan 17, 2007, 18:46
Great line for this bet here imo, cause it'll be void with a 63 63 scoreline, while other have only got the line at 17.5. I just can't see Dominguez Lino taking more than 3 games in each set, and that's why this bet is safe to at least be voided. I though expect one 60 or 61 blowout set by Li to easily get the under here. I saw Dominguez last year vs Serena at the US Open, and she isn't build to play hardcourt tennis, it's just not her thing. She uses way too many slice and topspin shots, and can't hit the ball hard (that's why she's quite a good dirtballer). Imo she'll get whacked off court by Li, just the way Serena handled her last year (61 62).

Pick: Tursunov Result: Not registered Stake: 8/10 Odds: 1.62 Bookmaker: Betfred vCash: No Posted: Jan 17, 2007, 18:26
There's no way Max will get past Dima here, and that for only one reason: Max is thé serve-and-volleyer around, and that won't work vs Dima, who will pass him time and time again on the net in my eyes. Dmitri had a good win over a good serving Waske, and got through with little trouble, except gifting the first set. Mirnyi on the other hand really had his hands full with Lucho. He was in trouble 1-2 in sets down but somehow found the recipy to dimantle the Peruvian, still the scoreline of 76 36 26 64 64 doesn't really sound encouraging when meeting a way better player on hardcourt now. Mirnyi won the only other meeting last year on carpet in 3, but carpet isn't outdoors hard unfortunately for Max, and I think the h2h will be levelled today.

Pick: Groenefeld Result: Not registered Stake: 7/10 Odds: 1.67 Bookmaker: Unibet vCash: No Posted: Jan 17, 2007, 18:17
Strrange odds Unibet have posted here in my eyes. For me 1.40 would have been fair without knowing the odds, and indeed most of the books posted odds about 1.45 - 1.55, but 1.64 is quite over the edge imo. Groenefeld was a very steady player in terms of results during a long period, but an injury she got stuck with last year seems to have destabilized her a bit now. Last year at the ending she got the one defeat after the other, and the start to 07 wasn't that hopeful either. But she proved a lot of people wrong by beating Zahlavova in the earlier round, while lots backed against her. She won 64 61, so a confident victory. She looked a bit like her old self again, steamrolling on the court, hitting 34 winners (combined with 36 ue's, but the winners count). She kept her cool well when facing bps against. Harkleroad easily beat Yuan, but I still don't trust the "eternal" promising talent from the States. She's suich an unstable player and always ready to falter on any given day. Last year this would have been an easy victory by Groenefeld, now it's just a little more complicated, but the odds are higher too, cause she wouldn't have gotten more than max 1.30 in her good period. I'd back her against every average p^layer @ 1.64.

Pick: Clement Result: 0-3 Stake: 7/10 Odds: 1.73 Bookmaker: Sportingbet vCash: No Posted: Jan 17, 2007, 17:25
Clement to win the battle of the Frenchies ? I think so yeap. Although Malisse got stuck with his head in his ass again after the match carried on (started swearing and throwing rackets), Clement just did an excellent job. He played solid almost errorless tennis and served pretty well, what we're known of him. Santoro is getting older by the day, and although he got a good win vs Kunitsyn, the Russian ain't that great a player on hardcourt outdoors. Santoro still leads 4-2 h2h, but Clement will get one step closer to equalizing in this night in my eyes. Clement though leads the h2h on hardcourt 2-1.
